Here are a few pictures taken the day our physics class actually did the lab.

send a tennis ball sailing!
Here you see an inline shot while the ball is still in the air. Note
that the radar gun readings were never consistent enough to be
of value. The arrow points to the ball in flight.
The launch team members kick back while the other team
members take and record measurements.
We had an electronic distance meter available, making quick
work of measuring the flight distance.
